Dear YHALE parents,
In this time of enormous uncertainty, thanks for being there with us. We know this is tough on all our families, for not knowing what will be next. As a school, during this pandemic, YHALE’s goals are to provide a highly controlled, low-risk environment for our students and employees; to adopt flexible means that will ensure minimal disruption to the students’ education. Know that we place the health and well-being of our students, employees, families and wider community at the forefront of our decision making.
At time of writing, we are still planning on a hybrid model of learning for this Fall. Parents still have the options of learning in-person, or on-line. In this planning we are reviewing enhancements of the health and safety protocols that were implemented by schools in other countries, in light of the most recent guidance from the State and the CDC.
We will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation, while working with the CDC and the Georgia Department of Public Health, should we need to adjust the start date for the hybrid model of learning or adjust the model of learning. The YAHLE team is working together to implement, at a minimum, the policies, procedures and best practices for our hybrid model of learning based upon the most up to date guidance from the CDC and the Georgia Department of Public Health. We will continue to keep you informed as information is updated or if any changes to our plans are needed.
