What are the required passing scores for each grade level?
Students entering Kindergarten and first grade are not required to take the STAMP assessment. All students entering or transferring to YHALE in grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th must meet the Required Score by Section OR the Required Composite Score for the grade level for which they are applying.
We encourage prospective students to take the Avant STAMP 4Se Sample Test (Korean or Mandarin for Grade 7 & Below) prior to registering for a test. The results from the sample test are a good indication of how your child may perform on the actual test. All scores are final. Any student who meets the proficiency qualifications and submits an application will be offered a seat at YHALE if/when one becomes available.
After receiving a passing score on the STAMP assessment, create a Lotterease account. From your Lotterease account you can create, submit, and track the status of your application. If selected, our Enrollment Specialist will assist you through the final steps and review your submitted documentation.
