Annual Fundraising

Why Give?

The Annual Fund Campaign is YHALE’s largest fundraiser. Unlike traditional public schools, YHALE does not receive ESPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) or capital outlay funding. That means we rely on the generosity of families, community partners, and local businesses to provide exceptional learning opportunities.

For 2025–2026, our Annual Fund dollars will focus on outdoor play areas for the new building. Funds will cover steel fences, borders, mulch, and playsets to ensure a safe and fun space for all students.

Goal: $70,000 with 100% participation from YHALE families.

Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission.

How Much Should I Give?

Every gift matters! Examples:

• $1 per school day per student ≈ $180 annually

• $25 per month ≈ $300 annually

Whether you give $50, $500, or more, your donation directly impacts YHALE’s ability to provide a safe, secure, playful, and inspiring learning environment.

Tip: Donations are tax-deductible, and many employers offer matching gift programs to double your impact!

• Give Online – via credit card (optional platform fee)

• Set Up Recurring Payments – monthly or quarterly

• Mail or Drop Off Checks – payable to Yi Hwang Academy

• Corporate Sponsorships – available for businesses and community partners

• Classroom Challenge – grade with highest participation earns a celebration party

• Donor Recognition – family and business donors listed on our website and in the yearbook
