Procedure to Address the Governing Board

The agenda is prepared in advance of each meeting and posted on the schools website. Public comment is welcome at all board meetings. To review YHALE’s public comment policy and register for public comment please click here. Registration for public comment will close 30 minutes prior to the board meeting.

Also, requests may be mailed to the principal and board at 4550 River Green Parkway, Suite 100, Duluth, GA 30096 or delivered at the same address. Delivered requests should be date and time stamped and signed by the receptionist.  YHALE is not responsible for unsuccessful delivery of mailed public comment requests. 

​To ensure effective public participation at Business Meetings of the Board, the following procedures are in effect.

1.  Must limit comments to three (3) minutes and end promptly when the allotted time has expired.
2. May not yield his/her time to another speaker who has not signed up in advance and has not completed the speaker’s form.  (Speakers also may not share speaking time with non-scheduled speakers.)
3. Should attempt to resolve issues through all appropriate school administrator levels before bringing the matter to the Board.

Individuals who have questions of the board may email board members directly at any time. Please give board members at least 48 hours to respond. If you do not receive an response, please re-send your email and courtesy copy the principal at achung@yhale.org, and you may also leave a telephone message with the school receptionist at 404-623-0003. Certain board members may better able to answer your question if your question falls into a certain category. Please see below:
