3rd Grade - English

Ms. Rosaria Bang is a native of Atlanta, originally from Seoul, South Korea.

She has taught for over two decades. She taught half of those years abroad in Japan, UAE, and China. She graduated from Georgia State University and also Lincoln Memorial with a Specialist in Curriculum & Instruction.

She is new to YHALE and excited to be teaching Grade 3, ELA, Social Studies, and Math. In her free time she enjoys art, cooking, and hot yoga.

Young Sim Jeon

Young Sim Jeon

3rd Grade - Korean

Ms. Jeon earned a Masters of Education Administration in Korea. She has 3 Bachelors degrees, in chemical engineering, environment and health, and Korean language. She then taught high school chemistry for 13 years, and middle school science & technology subjects for 10 years. Her teaching accolades include Minister’s Award, District Superintendent’s Award, and promotion to Assistant Principal, before retiring and moving to the United States in 2017. Since then, she taught Korean at the American Saturday Korean School since 2011. Also, here at YHALE, as well Korean language, science, and arts and sports, here at YHALE for 3 years. She likes to go for walks with dog, and she feels happy eating Korean food.

Teresa Xu

Teresa Xu

3rd Grade - Mandarin

Ms. Teresa Xu is a seasoned educator with over a decade of experience in teaching Chinese language arts, dance, piano, and basic mathematics to learners of various ages. She earned her degree in Education from Shanghai East China Normal University, along with several certifications including the Chinese Educator Certificate, Primary School Teacher – Senior Teacher Title, National Mandarin Level 1 Certificate, and a Certificate of Grade 8 in Piano Examination for Chinese Musicians.

With more than six years of leadership and management experience, Teresa has successfully founded and managed educational institutions, including the Yilin Music Art Training Center and ShangNan Education Academy in Shanghai. Her roles have involved designing curricula, managing school operations, and collaborating on international music projects.

Known for her cheerful personality and excellent communication skills, Teresa is passionate about fostering a love for learning in her students. Outside of her professional life, Teresa is a loving mother of three and enjoys playing the piano, dancing, and exploring new educational technologies.
